Desperate to find a cure for their father's worsening illness, brothers Ramon and Segundo set out into the wilderness in search of a rumored fountain with magical healing water. After they go missing, Mercedes must venture out alone in an attempt to save her family.
La Agua de Vida (translated to The Water of Life) is a twisted version of the Catalan fairytale "L'aigua de vida" and the more famously known "The Water of Life" fairytale by the Brothers Grimm. The story beats remain the same as the original tales, but the updated setting is a village in pre-WWII Puerto Rico and inside El Yunque forest.
